A black tear fell,
Down a soft pink cheek.
Reflecting the light,
Sparkling bright,
As the tear drop falls.

Pooling, meting, gathering.
In a blink of and eye,

Reflecting the light,
Shining bright.
Could the reasons be of joy,
Maybe of sorrow,
Or are the reasons a secret.

Without a reason.
Trickling a pathway,
Over soft moisten terrain,
A chain of shining onyx tear drops.
Are they best explained,
When coming from the heart,
For whatever the reason
